Linda Resendiz
4CS Region 6 Area J Representative
currently serve as the Executive Assistant to the President at Moorpark College; I’ve served VCCCD (Ventura County Community College District) for 17 years. Prior to my current assignment, I was the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Executive Vice Presidents at Ventura College and Moorpark College. I am past president for Moorpark College Classified Senate. Prior to this role, I served as Vice President as well as Classified Senate Treasurer at Ventura College. Being in a leadership role has been a great growth experience for me. I have found that I enjoy collaborating with my peers in matters pertaining to the success of students.
Encouraging my fellow classified professionals to be participants in college-wide decision making has been a priority for me. I deeply care for our classified voice involving important matters and believe that our roles as leaders in our campuses are necessary and important.
Besides my work life, I am a wife, mother of 5 and grandmother of 2 beautiful boys. I also share my home with two cats, three dogs, two horses and a multitude of roosters and hens.
