John Feist
Region 10 Representative
John Feist started working at San Bernardino Valley College on December 18th, 2000, as a Computer Technician where he provided technology support to students and maintained student computer labs. In April 2010, he transitioned to a Technology Support Specialist for the newly formed Campus Technology Services. In this role, John Feist has provided exceptional support to students, staff and faculty. John is always ready to go the extra mile with a keen understanding of what great customer service looks like. He has been recognized numerous times for going above and beyond in the amount of work that is accomplished accurately and responsibly.
John has always been a strong advocate for several technology services that have shaped the way IT operates to this day. He continues to advocate for better technology for adjunct professors, advising the department on what technology to purchase, or pioneering several IT standards and practices for San Bernardino Valley College. He takes pride in finding creative ways to go above and beyond for all campus and instructional needs. He is proud to have served the needs of students, staff, faculty, and managers for 24 years in the California Community College environment. His commitment to excellence in service and dedication to keeping technology functioning is a source of pride. John is honored to have the pleasure of assisting students achieve their educational dreams and future success in their chosen professions. John has taken on the challenge of being the Classified Senate President for SBVC since July 2020. He was recently appointed to the 4CS executive board as the representative for 4CS Region 10.
