I began my involvement with the Classified Senate in July 2000. I have worked at San Joaquin Delta College as a Records Evaluator for 9 years and an Academic Advisor for 7 years. I currently work in the CalWORKs Department as an Academic Advisor. I have served in Classified Senate for 4 years as an area Senator and was the Vice President for 2 years. I have been on numerous committees, which include the Classified Reclassification and Classified Professional Growth Committees, Shared Governance A.I. Committee, the CalWORKs Coordinating and Steering Committees and have chaired the Classified Retreat for 3 years and have been a part of the Classified Retreat for about 7 years. I am also a current member of the Central Valley CalWORKs Team which includes various Community Colleges in the Central Valley. I am interested in the 4CS and becoming an area representative because of the opportunities it would give me to meet other individuals from other colleges and be able to network and work toward a common goal. I am the type of person that enjoys the working with others and working toward a cause.
