I started working at Pasadena City College in the Spring of 1996, at our campus bookstore, as the night supervisor. My involvement in the Classified Senate began in 1998 when I thought I was missing out on what was happening on the other side of campus. So began my life of involvement in the Classified Senate in 2000. It has been a learning process – as I have held various offices; Treasurer Vice President, and when our Senate President retired I stepped up to the plate and had the best time. The support that I had from all my peers was overwhelming. When not at work, I enjoy reading, painting, working outside in my garden..."watching the chickens peck the ground". |
